Interior Comparison: 2025 Cadillac XT4 vs. 2025 Lexus UX

What’s the most important feature in the best luxury SUV? Is it the quality of the upholstery? The selection of amenities? The infotainment setup? The amount of space for seating and storage?
We’d argue that it’s all the above. When you buy a high-end SUV, you expect a higher standard of excellence when it comes to the everyday experience, and rightly so.
At our Cadillac dealership near Cantonment, FL, we pride ourselves in selling only the finest of in-cabin experiences. To prove it, we’ve decided to put our money where our mouth is and do a little Cadillac vs. Lexus comparison. Here’s what we found out:
Amenities and Pricing
The amenities vary slightly by trim, but regardless of which one you choose, both vehicles come with well-crafted materials and an excellent collection of standard features, as well as a wide selection of available upgrades. However, their pricing structures are a bit different.
The 2025 Cadillac XT4 has two trims to choose from:
- XT4 Premium Luxury: $40,795
- XT4 Sport: $41,595
The 2025 Lexus UX has four grades:
- UX 300h: $37,515
- UX 300h Premium: $40,715
- UX 300h F Sport Design: $41,465
- UX 300h F Sport Handling: $45,980
While the base-level UX is the cheapest of the two, it also has the most expensive grade by a long shot. So, if you’re looking for all the bells and whistles, you could buy a top-tier XT4 for less money and still have cash left over for a few upgrade packages, like the 14-speaker AKG™ sound system.
Interior Dimensions
Both the XT4 and UX belong to the subcompact crossover category, so by and large, they have carlike ride quality but SUV-like storage and seating measurements. But which is the most spacious small luxury SUV of the pair?
Here are the passenger and cargo dimensions side-by-side:
| 2025 XT4 | 2025 UX | |
| Head room (front/rear) | 39.4 in./38.3 in. | 37.2 in./36.3 in. |
| Shoulder room (front/rear) | 57.0 in./55.1 in. | 55.0 in./52.9 in. |
| Hip room (front/rear) | 54.5 in./49.8 in. | 53.8 in./52.3 in. |
| Leg room (front/rear) | 44.1 in./39.5 in. | 42.0 in./33.1 in. |
| Cargo volume (behind 2nd) | 22.5 cu. ft. | 17.1 cu. ft. |
| Cargo volume (behind 1st) | 48.9 cu. ft. | N/A |
A quick glance at these numbers shows us that the XT4 has acres more space than the relatively cramped UX, especially when we look at head room and rear leg room measurements.
Interestingly, we also couldn’t find any official specs about the UX’s total cargo volume, but given the rest of these dimensions, it’s safe to say that it doesn’t come close to the XT4’s.
Infotainment and Tech
All XT4 models get the latest and greatest infotainment in Cadillac’s repertoire—a 33-inch curved LED display, which is capable of stunning 9K resolution and is compatible with both Google built-in and Amazon Alexa Built-in. Standard features also include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, SiriusXM, Bluetooth, Natural Voice Recognition, and Wi-Fi hotspot capability. Wireless device charging and head-up display are available as well.
Most UX models come with an 8.0-inch center touch screen display, while the high-end F Sport Handling gets an upgraded 12.3-incher. Both screen sizes come standard with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, SiriusXM, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi connectivity, while wireless charging and head-up display are optional.
Overall, the XT4’s tech setup is far more intuitive and advanced, and its 5G connectivity allows for faster speeds than the UX can manage.
Safety Features
Both luxury SUVs come with an impressive collection of standard and available safety features.
